HubSpot is an especially good choice for small business owners with little or no experience in internet marketing. To start with, HubSpot offers a truly free product, in addition to more robust and affordable paid options, that allows access to a broad set of tools. That's a major benefit when you consider that some enterprise-level marketing solutions can cost thousands per month. It's also a complete CRM, and some of the tools it offers include:

Wow, this is the most comprehensive list of tools i’ve come across. Thanks for pulling it together! One more category you may want to consider is something like “agency sourcing tools.” There are a number of platforms out there, including http://www.AgencyLoft.com, which are designed to help marketers find and connect with marketing agencies. Just a thought. Thanks! Oh, and I just bookmarked this page!
HubSpot's tools can be an especially good choice for small business owners with little or no experience in internet marketing. To start with, HubSpot's tools are ready-to-use, and allow users to design their own workflows. Videos are all the rage in marketing today – they're not based on heavy files anymore, they're attractive and can help brands to communicate with their audiences. You can use videos for introducing a new product, showing behind the scenes footage, showcasing a promotional event or offering a tutorial aimed at solving a specific problem. Here are 10 tools to help you create short videos and launch your video marketing campaign.
The ease of sharing your marketing video content is also another very important feature, which you need to consider when selecting the best video tool. AVS Video editor allows you to share your videos in different ways: Save the video in a suitable format on your PC, you can then burn it in a DVD, adjust the video for your iOS or Android devices, or easily publish your creative video on your social network or website.

Because online marketing videos are the most effective marketing tool nowadays. For one thing: it is an easy to digest format that allows your eyes rest from the abundance of textual advertisement all around the internet. Ever since the dawn of time, entrepreneurs have been giving away stuff for free. From the “lite” versions of apps, to samples in the grocery story, or straight up assaulting you with perfume every time you walk past the makeup department. Entrepreneurs of all sorts will fall over themselves trying to give you their stuff for free, all in the hopes that you’ll want to come back for more.
Wistia is a video hosting service for businesses, which came highly recommended by local SEO expert Greg Gifford in his Brighton SEO presentation on going beyond local SEO. It provides detailed analytics, engagement graphs and heat maps to show exactly how users have interacted with a video. The free option only supports three videos, but you can upgrade from $10/month to one of its paid options.

A head turner of a resources list, Pawan, and an indicator of just how much work has to be done to rise above the noise level engendered in all those divergent channels. I, personally, have chosen an infinitely easier task of creating a Social Publishing Complex, where the authors/publishers will benefit from the use that I’ll put to your gigantic (and SUPER well-researched) resource on content marketing tools. Thanks again.
This is partly a refreshed and updated version of the excellent list of 50 digital marketing tools to grow your start-up put together by Bryan Eisenberg last year, and incorporates many of his picks as well as suggestions from the comments section. If you know any great free tools that have been helpful in your own digital marketing efforts, please suggest them in the comments!
The first thing Jessica advises to a beginner is to install an app called “Profit Bandit”. This app scans the barcode on any item to see if it’s recognized by Amazon. If it is, the app tells you the current selling price of the product and thereby you can gauge the profit that you’ll get by selling the item. The app also shows a rating of the best selling items which can help you buy things that are in demand.
Thank you for assembling a terrific list of useful tools. Now, I need the Consumer’s Report version, and/or the Men’s Journal version in which they recommend an item for a specific flavor of customer/use/sport, ie. Sunglasses – Best for Fishing, Best for Running, Best for Driving. As a “newbie” to the online marketing world, it is difficult/impossible, and mind-numbing to sift through all of the choices available as well as rationally judge which features will be most beneficial for each stage of business development and growth down the road. I could easily go broke test driving my way down this list and never get my business off the ground. All that said, thank you for the effort and the valuable results.

By default, extract-key is applied to two list elements for every comparison, but if cache-keys? is true, then the extract-key function is used exactly once for each list item. Supply a true value for cache-keys? when extract-key is an expensive operation; for example, if file-or-directory-modify-seconds is used to extract a timestamp for every file in a list, then cache-keys? should be #t to minimize file-system calls, but if extract-key is car, then cache-keys? should be #f. As another example, providing extract-key as (lambda (x) (random)) and #t for cache-keys? effectively shuffles the list.
