You should also keep in mind that too much text can be difficult for users to digest. No one wants to spend time reading your overly wordy email because they probably receive hundreds of other emails every day. Keep it concise. And if you do feel like you need a lot of text, break it up into manageable or scannable paragraphs so that your readers are not overwhelmed. You can always link to your website pages or landing pages for additional information.
Social media marketing is not as difficult as it sounds, especially when you rely on tools like Hootsuite. With this particular tool, you can schedule and manage social media profiles for more than 30 platforms. Imagine doing this by hand, without a central dashboard to guide you. It would be enough to frustrate even the most experienced entrepreneur, let alone a new business owner. Let Hootsuite operate like the social media marketing manager it is.
Altimeter. In April of 2013, Rebecca Lieb of Altimeter started a list of 15 content marketing vendors. We were flattered to have Curata included in the initial list. More recently, Altimeter has published a content marketing vendor landscape which includes over 100 content marketing tools. However, the list does not include some of the broader categories we have included here.
Viewbix is a video marketing tool where you can create an interactive video in just three steps – which should only take about five minutes. This is accomplished by simply adding a link to your video, branding your video by inserting your logo and call-to-action buttons, and finally choosing apps to help you achieve goals like lead capture generation.

Very good post wind! You have made an expanded list of useful tools! To help you complete your list, I would suggest another useful helpful tool: Ambassify This advocacy platform makes a difference because of your campaigns due to the creation of brand awareness to get feedback from your supporters. You have many campaign objectives to do and co-create products with them! This forum is really focused on two-way communication to promote lasting relationships with your supporters. If you want to know more, go to the website.
Sponsor a video contest in which customers create a one-minute video about why they like your business, products or services. Ask them to send the videos to you and post them to your Facebook page. Invite visitors to vote on which video should win a cash or merchandise prize. Include an email opt-in on your Facebook page. Be sure to follow Facebook’s rules regarding contests.
Or, you can even create a character that looks just like you, or anyone else from the office; browse through different hairstyles, clothing, eye shapes and so on until you create your own animated twin. Another cool feature from GoAnimate is that you can add voice to your character by recording it directly or importing the file, and they will automatically start lip-syncing it.

Note: This is the exact set up recording gear I used for my multiple 6-figure summit, List Building School and what most of my successful VSM students tend to use as well. I’ve since updated my own setup to up the quality 100 times at least, and as that’s more advanced and cost a few $1,000 I won’t go into it here (I do cover the exact tools and setup I use now in my premium flagship program Virtual Summit Mastery though).
Pop-up forms provide visitors with a quick, convenient way to share contact information and subscribe to your list while they’re browsing your site, making them a powerful tool for audience growth. They’re easy to add to your site, and they’re proven to work—our research shows that Mailchimp users have seen their list growth rate increase by an average of 50.8% after adding a pop-up form to their site.
He says, “Look at your most trafficked blog posts or other content offers. You can then use Google Search Console to see the actual search queries that have resulted in people landing on those pages. Is there a common theme or objective behind the search queries that have brought visitors to that page? If so, build a content offer that directly addresses the theme or question behind the search queries.”

An event landing page, beacon technology, and email follow-up software are all valuable for marketing your event, but integrating them can be difficult. That’s why best-in-class marketers leverage event technologies with all-in-one tools that allow them to see the big picture, and provide prospects more relevant and on-target communication. They can help teams promote their event before with things like custom invitations, engage with their business during via custom apps, and report the results afterward with powerful analytics.
Every ESP will give you tools to create an opt-in form for your site. Generally speaking, the less information you ask for (at this initial stage, at least), the better. The more information you ask for, the less likely your prospect is to complete the process. You’ll obviously need to ask for an email address, and I also highly recommended that you ask for a first name so you can personalize your emails. However, asking for any information beyond these two fields can decrease conversion rates significantly without adding much valuable data.
One thing that is unique about the Marketing 360® platform is it’s a combination of both talent & technology. This means, you not only get the best tools you need to market and grow your business online, but you also get a dedicated marketing team who does everything for you. This allows you to focus on running your business while we focus on driving you business.
If you are committed to growing your organization, but struggling to map out the process using digital marketing, here are the steps you’ll want to take. Some of these apply to your organization as a whole and not strictly to digital marketing. However, they are key areas we see many small businesses and nonprofits haven’t clearly defined. Just posting on social media won’t get you the results you want if you haven’t defined your strategy.
In other words, asking people for something as soon as they land on your page is annoying and a bit assuming. The goal of lead capture is to invite people who like what you’re doing to come back. This is why I set my popups to show up between 20-40 seconds after a visitor has arrived. If a visitor has been reading your content for more than 20 seconds, he or she is interested in what you’re saying and probably intrigued to know who you are.
Groups are specialized list fields that correspond to fields on your signup forms. They let you ask your contacts to self-categorize with preset responses that you provide. For example, a garden shop might ask their contacts what best describes them: a gardener, landscaper, or indoor plant enthusiast. After contacts self-select their interests, you can create internal tags based on group data, or send email campaigns to a segment containing one group, a few groups, or all of them.

Create a Facebook ad with engaging content that speaks to your target customer. What do they want? Are they looking for more information about something? Is there a question or pain point they need help answering? Your lead magnet should be solving one of these needs. Therefore, your ad needs to clearly call out that need, and then effectively explain how and why you have the solution.

As you become more familiar with the process, you’ll notice that there are a ton of options whenever it comes to opt-in forms. There are different types, locations, and capabilities of each form. But, my recommendation is to just keep it simple. Don’t overwhelm your visitors with too many options. Having one or two opt-in forms on your blog will get the job done.

I won’t lie to you, it does take a fair amount of preparation and time to build your authority up to this point. But I guarantee you that if you start implementing the exact same tactics that I’ve listed here, you’ll immediately be able to increase your conversion rate and start building one of the most important resources you’ll need as an entrepreneur.
