We suggest starting with two types of free offers. One top-of-the-funnel, educational piece of content like an ebook, and one middle-of-the-funnel offer to let someone speak with your sales team to get a demo or a quote or a free consultation or whatever works for your specific business. By having these two types of offers on your website, you can capture potential leads and convert customers that are in different stages of the buying process.

Online marketers will be able to serve customized content to their website visitors by tapping into their knowledge base to determine which content will be more engaging to each visitor. Netflix does an exceptional job providing visitors with individualized recommendations based on the movies and shows they have watched. You can apply the same concept when designing your website by refraining from thinking of your page as a static site. For example, look at “time spent on page” data to determine what the visitor is interested in; the next time that particular visitor comes to your website, you can show them relevant content based on their browsing history.
Great Article! Traditional marketing is becoming less and less effective by the minute; as a forward-thinking marketer, you know there has to be a better way. Instead of pitching your products or services, you are providing truly relevant and useful content to your prospects and customers to help them solve their issues. I have used a tool called AeroLeads and It really helped me a lot to boost my business.
There’s an old saying that when the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem tends to look like a nail. Fight that kind of thinking as much as you can. Your plan may call for expertise you don’t have, or actions you aren’t very good at. So make some room in your plan to partner with someone else. If you’re great at connecting with customers but lousy at technology, find a partner whose strengths and weaknesses perfectly complement yours. Believe me, that person is out there and wants desperately to work with you.
More than ever before, people buy from people they know and trust. Being trustworthy -- and able to convey this trait to others -- is critical to being a successful online marketer. Garish, over-the-top landing pages; blatant self-promotion on social media; and spammy, keyword-laden copy will inevitably damage or destroy your online reputation. Being authentic and trustworthy is what will set you apart, helping you build long-term relationships with your customers and clients.
I’ve seen all the video marketing stats and, yet, the numbers never cease to amaze me. I mean, I never thought video could take off how it has, but I am loving it. It is such a great tool for marketers of all sizes, especially the smaller businesses and brands. Anyway, I really love lists like these because you, as you know, you can never have too many tools to make a variety of several different types of videos.I have tried Powtoon and Renderforest and really like them. But I look forward to trying more on this list but would love to add another one here, if that’s cool. I’ve been using slide.ly/promo and they have footage that you can choose from. They have a ton of stuff including animated clips too. Thanks again for this great list.
It’s understandable to think video marketing is the exclusive territory of big companies with deep pockets. After all, you’d assume that creating an entire video marketing strategy from the ground up would take a lot of time and resources. Think again. With Biteable’s easy-to-use online video making software, all you need is a web browser and a few spare minutes to become a video marketing guru.
In the past we had many different lead offers using only discounts; everything from 20% off to buy-one-get-one-free.  Take a minute to understand your potential customers’ decision chain, and what’s most important to them. Once you do that, you can match the right offer.  We now offer a free trial of our product to get leads to the top of the funnel.  Then we try and educate them about the value of language learning, and throw in a tasty offer offer from time to time.  With this multi-staged approach, we're beginning to see much higher conversion rates and lower CPA.
Why It Is Important: “Aside from HubSpot, Jira is the hub of all activity in our organization, regardless of team, position, or seniority. While at a high-level, it may seem like just a fancy “to-do list,” it’s become so much more than that. Jira gives everyone full transparency into their peers’ work. It what keeps us all on the same page, allowing anyone to evaluate workloads, project progress, capacity, and overall productivity. Yes, we’d love to see some UX/UI changes, but in the past year, Jira has become indispensable.”

Use a reactivation campaign to gauge whether non-responsive subscribers are still reading (just not clicking through or tracking open rates), or if they’ve truly decided to opt out. An example from MarketingProfs is shown here. The language you choose can play a big role in how successful these campaigns are, so be sure to split-test a few versions to maximize response.
Why It Is Important: “This is one of the most critical pieces to our technology ecosystem because it helps us drive every new sale. It also supports all existing clients, helping us plan, comxmunicate, and get authorization for sprint plans. Our close rates have skyrocketed. We’re expanding relationships with existing clients. We simply would not live without the ability to grow faster, and healthier and that’s the capability that PandaDoc has brought our agency.”
